Individual asserts that they lost 30 pounds in 36 days solely by consuming meals from McDonald's

A man from Nashville, Tennessee named Kevin Maginnis has started a challenge to lose 50 pounds in 100 days by eating only McDonald's fast food for three meals a day, cutting each portion in half. He documents his daily McDonald's order on his TikTok account @bigmaccoaching. On day 36, Maginnis claimed to have lost 30 pounds, weighing 238 pounds at the start of his journey and now at 208 pounds. Maginnis has not snacked between meals and has been swapping the McDonald's fountain drink for water. He is not sponsored by McDonald's but chose the fast-food chain due to his last name, which earned him the nickname 'Big Mac' in the past. Maginnis has encouraged naysayers to follow along on TikTok and watch the results for themselves. He is not the first person to eat only McDonald's for an extended period, as seen in the 2004 Oscar-nominated documentary Super Size Me.
